The Härkila Wildwood GTX is a lightweight walking and hunting boot built around a hardwearing Cordura upper, shown here in the Mid Brown colourway. Cordura dries far quicker than leather and breathes better too, which keeps the Wildwood among the lightest boots in Härkila's range at around 620g per boot. Reinforced stitching adds durability at the stress points, and the boot is outstandingly comfortable straight out of the box. A waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane keeps feet dry in wet conditions, and a medium-stiff sole — a rubber outsole over a lightweight EVA midsole — provides good support and cushioning over long distances on rough or uneven ground. Designed and manufactured in Europe, the Wildwood GTX is built to the same standard as the rest of Härkila's footwear range and comes with a two-year warranty covering material or manufacturing defects. It's a sound choice for walked-up days, dog work and general hill use where a lighter, quicker-drying boot is preferable to heavier leather.
