Hoggs of Fife Waxed Treggings are designed for country workers and anyone who needs to get in and out of overtrousers quickly - over boots, wellies or breeks, without having to strip off first. Made from a 100% waxed cotton waterproof outer, they use the classic single-fold tregging cut, prized for being lighter and better ventilated than a full waterproof trouser while still keeping the worst of the weather out. The waist is elasticated with a nylon strap and plastic clip fastening for a fast, adjustable fit, and there are two access slits through to the inner trouser pockets, though the treggings themselves carry no pocket pouch. They're left open at the fly area, in keeping with the tregging style. In olive, they're a practical, no-nonsense layer for feeding, dog walking, or general yard and field work in wet conditions, and are available in sizes Small through to 2XL.
