The Hornady 7mm .284" 160 grain CX (Copper alloy eXpanding) is a monolithic lead-free hunting bullet designed for exceptional performance on medium to large game. Constructed from a solid copper alloy with an optimised groove geometry, the CX retains approximately 95% of its weight on impact, driving deep and expanding reliably across the full velocity range. The Heat Shield tip resists deformation during flight, preserving an ideal meplat for consistent, high ballistic coefficients. With a sectional density of .286 and a G1 BC of .596, this 7mm projectile delivers flat trajectories and retained energy at extended ranges. Supplied in boxes of 50, the CX suits hand-loaders building accurate, lead-free stalking loads for deer and larger quarry. Not loaded ammunition — component bullets for reloading only.
