The Hornady 7mm .284" 162 grain InterLock BTSP (Boat-Tail Soft Point) is a cup-and-core hunting bullet built around Hornady's pioneering secant ogive and the exclusive InterLock ring. The raised InterLock ring is embedded in the bullet's one-piece lead core, locking jacket and core together during expansion to retain mass and energy for deep penetration and consistent wound channels. Inner grooves weaken the upper jacket section for controlled expansion even at long range, while the tapered jacket ensures reliable mushrooming across all velocities. A cannelure provides a positive crimp location and works in conjunction with the InterLock ring. With a sectional density of .287 and a G1 BC of .514, this boat-tail soft point is well suited to hand-loads for deer and larger woodland game. Supplied 100 per box.
