The Hornady 7mm .284" 175 grain InterLock SP (Spire Point) is a flat-base, cup-and-core hunting bullet designed around Hornady's secant ogive profile and the exclusive InterLock ring. The raised InterLock ring is embedded in the one-piece lead core, mechanically bonding the jacket to the core to prevent separation during expansion — retaining mass and energy for reliable penetration and large, consistent wound channels. The tapered jacket, with its inner grooves strategically weakening the upper section, ensures controlled expansion across all impact velocities. A cannelure provides a secure crimp location and works with the InterLock ring to keep core and jacket united on impact. At 175 grains, this spire point is well suited to heavier hand-loads in 7mm cartridges for medium to large woodland game. Supplied 100 per box.
