The Hornady Cam-Lock Bullet Puller Collet #5 is sized for .277 calibre bullets and works exclusively with the Hornady Cam-Lock Bullet Puller. The collet closes firmly around the bullet shank when the puller is tightened, allowing the projectile to be drawn cleanly from the case without deforming or marking it. Bullet, powder charge and brass can then all be recovered for reuse — particularly useful when a load needs correcting, a seating depth is wrong, or a batch is being reworked. The .277 size suits cartridges built around the 7mm bore diameter, including the .270 Winchester and .270 WSM, both popular deer-stalking and woodland rounds in the UK. The cam-lock design applies controlled clamping pressure, making it a more precise and gentler option than an inertia hammer-style puller. Collets are calibre-specific; this #5 collet suits .277 cal projectiles. Sold individually.
