The Hornady Custom Grade Full-Length 2-Die Set for 22 Hornet (.224) gives handloaders a precision tool for working one of Britain's most established fox and vermin cartridges. The full-length sizing die returns fired brass to SAAMI minimum dimensions using Hornady's Elliptical Expander, which outperforms conventional ball expanders by delivering smoother neck sizing, less friction and reduced case neck stretch; its internal threading locks it securely and removes the need for a separate expander die when necking up. The Zip Spindle locks without slippage and provides both fine incremental adjustments via light threading and rapid coarse movement. The precision-polished internal bore prevents case sticking through long reloading sessions. The in-line bullet seating die brings bullet, case neck and seating stem into true co-axial alignment within a floating sleeve before the bullet enters the neck — an arrangement that pays dividends in consistent seating depth and accuracy. Built-in roll crimping saves a separate die and a station on the press. Sure-Loc lock rings clamp the full die body without thread contact; wrench flats allow easy die changes without risk of damage.
