The Hornady Custom Grade Full-Length 2-Die Set for 223 Winchester Super Short Magnum (.224) gives handloaders the tooling to produce accurate, consistent ammunition from this high-velocity short-action cartridge. The set includes a full-length sizing die that restores fired brass to SAAMI minimum specifications, using the Hornady Elliptical Expander to size the neck with less friction and reduced case-neck stretch compared to conventional ball expanders. The hardened steel headed decap pin and Zip Spindle feature on the sizing die allow precise, positive adjustments — the spindle locks securely and can be repositioned quickly for gross changes. The second die is an in-line bullet seating die whose floating alignment sleeve holds the bullet, case neck and seating stem in perfect alignment before seating begins, producing more consistent bullet run-out. A built-in roll crimper means no separate crimp die is required, saving a station on your press. Both dies are fitted with Sure-Loc lock rings. Supplied in a stackable die storage box that can hold additional accessories. 7/8"-14 thread — fits any press accepting standard dies. Does not include a shell holder. Made in USA, lifetime warranty.
