The Hornady Custom Grade Full-Length 2-Die Set for 260 Rem (.264) gives handloaders a reliable, precise tooling solution for this capable 6.5mm cartridge, which has earned a strong following among deer stalkers and long-range target shooters alike. The full-length sizing die reforms fired cases back to SAAMI minimum dimensions via Hornady's Elliptical Expander, reducing neck friction and case stretch markedly compared with ball expanders, while internal threading keeps the expander secure under repeated use. The Zip Spindle locks positively against slippage and allows both fine incremental and swift gross adjustments without tools. The in-line bullet seating die holds bullet, case neck and seating stem in perfect coaxial alignment within a floating sleeve before the bullet enters the neck — the key to consistent seating depth and improved loaded-round concentricity. A built-in roll crimper saves a press station. Both dies are fitted with Sure-Loc lock rings, which clamp around the entire die body for secure, repeatable settings and release cleanly using integrated wrench flats without risk of thread damage.
