The Hornady Custom Grade Full-Length 2-Die Set for 5.6x50 Magnum (.224) equips handloaders to produce accurate, consistent rounds in this European metric varminting calibre. The full-length sizing die returns fired brass to SAAMI minimum dimensions using the Hornady Elliptical Expander, which sizes the case neck with less friction and reduced neck stretch than a conventional ball expander — internal threading keeps it secure under normal use. The Zip Spindle on the sizing die provides a positive lock and enables both fine incremental adjustments and rapid gross repositioning. The in-line bullet seating die incorporates a floating alignment sleeve that keeps the bullet, case neck and seating stem aligned before bullet entry into the neck, helping deliver consistent seating depth and reduced run-out. A built-in crimper handles roll crimping directly, removing the need for a separate crimp die. Both dies carry Hornady Sure-Loc lock rings that clamp around the full die body — the locking screw does not contact the threads, and incorporated wrench flats make fitting and removal straightforward. Supplied in a stackable die storage box. 7/8"-14 thread — fits any press accepting standard dies. Does not include a shell holder. Made in USA with a lifetime warranty.
