The Hornady Custom Grade Full-Length 2-Die Set for 6mm GT (.243) is built for the precision handloader — the 6mm GT is a purpose-designed long-range target cartridge developed by George Gardner and Tom Jacobs, and getting the most from it starts with quality reloading tooling. The full-length sizing die returns fired brass to SAAMI minimum dimensions, with Hornady's Elliptical Expander handling neck sizing with less friction and reduced case-neck stretch than a conventional ball expander. The Zip Spindle locks positively and allows fine incremental or rapid gross adjustments to sizing depth without tools. The second die is an in-line bullet seating die with a floating alignment sleeve — standard on all Hornady Custom Grade sets and often charged as an extra by other makers — that holds the bullet, case neck and seating stem in alignment before the bullet enters the neck. The result is consistent seating depth and lower bullet run-out, which matters when shooting for tight groups. A built-in crimper removes the need for a separate crimp die. Both dies are fitted with Sure-Loc lock rings. Supplied in a stackable die storage box. 7/8"-14 thread; fits any standard press. Shell holder not included. Made in USA, lifetime warranty.
