The Hornady Lock-N-Load Classic Single Primer Tube for Small Primers is a replacement and spare pickup tube for the automatic priming feed on the Lock-N-Load Classic single-stage reloading press, sized specifically for small primers (small rifle and small pistol). Pre-loading primers into tubes before a reloading session allows the press to seat them without interruption — far faster than placing primers individually. To load the tube, press the primer pickup at the end of the tube down onto each primer in the tray in turn; the tube picks them up in a hands-free process that avoids direct contact with primer compounds. With a capacity of up to 70 small primers, a single tube can sustain a long run at the press, and pre-loading spare tubes means downtime between tubes is minimal. When one tube is empty, swap in the next without dismantling any part of the press. This tube is specifically sized for small primers; the equivalent large primer version is available separately.
