The Hornady Match Grade 2-Die Set for 338 Lapua Magnum (.338) is designed for the serious handloader working with one of the benchmark long-range cartridges, favoured by precision competitors and long-distance stalkers alike. The full-length bushing-style sizing die accepts interchangeable, self-centring Hornady neck bushings — selected and purchased separately — allowing you to dial in the exact neck tension that suits your brass and chamber without risk of oversizing and work-hardening case necks. The removable Elliptical Expander lets you choose to inside-neck size; it works more smoothly than a ball expander and produces less case-neck stretch, with internal threading that keeps it firmly in place. A Decap Pin Retainer and hardened steel Headed Decap Pin are included. The In-line Bullet Seating Die aligns bullet, case neck and seating stem perfectly in a floating sleeve before the bullet touches the neck, which reduces run-out and promotes consistent seating depth — critical with long, high-BC projectiles. The Micro Just micrometer allows fine, repeatable seating-depth changes, and a built-in roll crimper removes the need for a separate crimp die. Sure-Loc lock rings are fitted to both dies.
