The Hornady Match Grade Die Set for 6mm ARC (.243) is a precision reloading die set designed for Hornady's 6mm Advanced Rifle Cartridge — a round engineered specifically for the AR-15 platform, offering high ballistic coefficient performance in a compact case. As part of Hornady's Match Grade bushing-die range, this set gives precision reloaders control over neck tension through the use of interchangeable, self-centering Hornady neck size bushings (sold separately), reducing the risk of oversizing case necks and extending brass life. The size die features a removable elliptical expander that provides smoother neck sizing with less friction and reduced case-neck stretch compared to conventional ball expanders. All dies in the set come with Hornady's Sure-Loc lock rings, which clamp around the full die body and tighten without contacting the threads, protecting the thread form and making die changes straightforward. The set is supplied in a stackable die storage box that can also hold a shell holder and Lock-N-Load bushings. 7/8"-14 thread, fits all standard reloading presses. No shell holder included.
