The Hornady Match Grade Full-Length Size Die for 308 Winchester is a single, standalone sizing die built to the same standard as the full Match Grade die set range — ideal for handloaders who already own a seating die or who are building a custom die station. The die accepts interchangeable, self-centring Hornady neck bushings, purchased separately, so you can select the exact bushing that delivers the neck tension your brass and rifle require without the risk of oversizing case necks and overworking the metal through repeated sizing cycles. A removable Elliptical Expander gives the option of inside-neck sizing; it runs smoother than a conventional ball expander with significantly less friction and case-neck stretch, and its internal threading keeps it secure under repeated use. The die ships with a Decap Pin Retainer and a hardened steel Headed Decap Pin. A Sure-Loc lock ring is fitted, clamping around the full die body so the ring holds its position under repeated removal and replacement — the locking screw does not contact the die threads, and wrench flats allow tool-free adjustment.
