The Marttiini Condor Timberjack is a compact, general-purpose fixed-blade knife from the Finnish knifemaker's Condor range, built for carving, campfire prep and everyday outdoor tasks. The blade is forged from 1.2003 carbon steel, hardened to HRC 55-57, and ground to take a fine edge that resharpens easily in the field - useful for feathering kindling or general camp chores. The blade runs to 9.5cm, giving good control for detail work, and the knife measures 22cm overall. The handle is moulded from textured rubber for a secure grip in wet or cold conditions, with an integral finger guard to keep the hand clear of the edge during hard use. As with any carbon-steel blade, it needs a little care - dry it after use and oil it regularly to stop it marking or rusting, and it will serve for years. The knife comes complete with a genuine leather sheath with a belt loop, so it's ready to carry straight from the box.
