Nosler's E-Tip is a lead-free hunting bullet built for handloaders who need dependable expansion without a lead core. This box of 50 covers .22 calibre (0.224in diameter) at 55 grains, a popular varmint-to-light-deer weight with a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.305 and a sectional density of 0.157. The polymer spitzer tip is the same design used on Nosler's AccuBond and Ballistic Tip bullets, protecting the nose from deformation in the magazine while helping initiate expansion on impact. A concentric gilding-metal jacket and boat-tail base keep drag low for flat trajectories, and the Energy Expansion Cavity gives immediate, uniform expansion while retaining over 95% of the bullet's weight. The lead-free alloy reduces barrel fouling too. Cannelured for a secure crimp, with a minimum recommended impact velocity of 1800fps and a minimum 1-in-10in twist barrel recommended. Supplied as projectiles only — not loaded ammunition — for handloaders working up their own .22 calibre rounds.
