Bisley's shooting cushion gives you a durable, weatherproof seat base for the peg, the range or the high seat, made from tough 600D waterproof polyester that shrugs off wet ground and rough treatment. It's supplied unfilled, so you choose your own filling to get the firmness and comfort you want, and can top it up or replace it over time rather than being stuck with a fixed pad. An external zip compartment adds useful storage for small essentials such as ear defenders, a call or spare cartridges, keeping them close to hand without needing a separate pouch. Zips aren't great, filling a nightmare

Cushion itself seems well stitched and durable and hopefully should last the test of time, however; within an hour of a competition the zipper pull on the side pocket had somehow snapped off (never used/zipper still works). About 30 mins later the main zipper had opened slightly so when I sat on the cushion it expelled thousands of tiny filling balls all over the woodland course. The amount of filling is the bare minimum to start with and the loose filled tiny balls are far from the best on the market. I now need to fork out for more filling (not cheap) and some kind of casing to stop the snow shower when I sit down just in case 0the zip crept open again unnoticed.
