The Sitka CORE Lightweight Hoody is the foundation base layer that every CORE system is built around — designed to work hard on its own or underneath insulation and outerwear. High-performance polyester construction wicks moisture during high-output stretches such as the climb in or a hard stalk, then dries quickly again through the quieter periods spent sitting, glassing or calling. The hooded design adds coverage at the neck and head without the bulk of a heavier midlayer, so it layers easily under a jacket or works alone in milder conditions. At just 187g it packs down small and adds negligible weight to a stalking or hunting kit list. Finished in GORE OPTIFADE Concealment Open Country, a pattern developed for engagement at 50 yards and beyond, at ground level, in rocky, open terrain above the treeline — well suited to high hill and mountain stalking where cover is sparse and shots are taken at distance.
