The Trace Big Game Sled is a rigid HDPE drag sled built for getting a shot deer or other large game out of the hill and back to the larder without unnecessary damage to the carcase or excessive strain on the stalker. The tough, moulded base has reinforced ridges that shrug off rocky and uneven ground, while the large, flat platform spreads the load evenly so the sled tracks smoothly rather than digging in. A 7mm rope laces through the side walls and finishes in a comfortable, easy-grip handle, giving a secure pull point whether you are hauling across snow, mud, heather or rough hill ground. At 127 x 66 x 30 cm it is sized for a full-grown deer or similar-sized quarry, and the durable HDPE construction is built to take repeated seasons of hard use in the field. It is equally useful for dragging decoys, firewood, feed or traps back to the vehicle. Optional steel runners are available separately to further ease the glide over difficult terrain, but are not included as standard with the sled.
