Barnes TTSX 6.5mm .264 120 grain bullets are lead-free reloading components supplied 50 to a box for handloaders — this is not loaded ammunition. Machined from a solid copper shank, the Tipped Triple-Shock X carries a streamlined polymer tip that boosts the ballistic coefficient, improves long-range flight and triggers rapid expansion the moment it meets the animal. Multiple rings cut into the shank relieve pressure and virtually eliminate copper fouling, while also helping deliver the bullet's accuracy. On impact, hydraulic pressure forces the nose open into four razor-sharp cutting petals that double the bullet's original diameter for a fast, decisive result, while the solid copper shank stays intact for complete penetration and virtually full weight retention. Barnes recommends seating bullets around 0.050in off the lands as a starting point, refining seating depth between 0.030in and 0.070in for best accuracy in an individual rifle. At 120 grains, this 6.5mm bullet suits popular stalking cartridges such as 6.5x55 and 6.5 Creedmoor, giving UK reloaders a proven lead-free option for deer and medium game handloads.
