There tends to be 3 options for outdoor workers when they are choosing the best footwear for the type of work and conditions; 1) Wellington boots, 2) Walking Boots and 3) Walking Boots with Gaiters fitted. Each of the 3 options have positives and negatives. Wellingtons offer great waterproof properties, but very limited ankle support and comfort. Walking boots offer good support and comfort but limited waterproof abilities compared with wellingtons. The option to fit a gaiter to walking boots is an improvement but can be time consuming, fiddly and ultimately, water can stilll creep up from underneath.
With the Crispi Highland Pro, you have all of the benefits but none of the drawbacks. The Crispi Highland Pro features a Crispi walking boot on the inside with a Gore-Tex membrane to aid breathability. It also features a built in gaiter that is sealed to the walking boot and has an external rubber rand to ensure durability and make this boot 100% waterproof. The result is a high performance boot with great ankle support, grip and superior waterproofness. The adjustable velcro fastening at the top futher enhances the boot by reducing any splashes going into the boot and also reducing the possibility of ticks reaching your skin.

The Crispi Attiva Mid GTX boots are ideal for the light and fast hunter who wants to stay nimble, mobile and agile while keeping feet dry and protected during early season hunts. We've taken the benefits of the Attiva low and added additional stability, Gortex and a little extra Italian know-how to create the Attiva Mid. The ultra soft comfort of a leather/synthetic upper, Elastoflex midsole and Vibram sole are a combination that makes for a unique mix of fast and light with durability not often found in hunting specific boots within this category.
The Elastoflex midsole delivers a perfect weight to impact absorption ratio specific to hunting situations and use. For the Attiva Mid, the Elastoflex midsole as well as our board last build provides additional flex stability to give this boot a Flex2 rating. For ankle stability we've incorporated Crispi's proprietary Thermo Wire Technology (TWT) which is an innovative system to provide the upper with greater stability, ankle support and protection without added weight.
