The Small Fox LM is a compact fixed-blade knife from Laurin Metalli, the Finnish blade maker based in Kauhava, a region with a long tradition of knife production. It carries a 55mm blade in X50CrMoV15 stainless steel, just 1.5mm thick, ground Scandi-style with a micro bevel so the edge is easy to keep sharp on a flat stone without special tools. Overall length is 165mm, making it a small, easily carried fixed blade rather than a bulky camp knife. The handle is a soft-grip thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), giving a secure hold even with cold or wet hands, and the blade is supplied with a polymer cover to protect the edge and the carrier when the knife is not in use. Its size and fine, controllable edge suit close detail work — skinning and preparing small game, larder tasks around the kitchen, and general bushcraft or whittling jobs where a large knife is more than is needed. A practical, no-frills little blade for anyone who wants precision over size.
