This is the medium-size nylon sheath from Marttiini, made to carry the MFK Folding, MEF8 Folding and MEF OR8 Folding knives when they're not in use. It's cut from a high-grade nylon fabric that Marttiini rates as puncture-proof and tear-resistant, along with being resistant to heat and general wear — properties that matter on a sheath that's going to spend its working life against a belt or in a pocket, picking up knocks. The fabric is also fast-drying, so a soaking on the hill or by the water doesn't leave it damp for days afterwards, and it's light and straightforward to keep clean. As a genuine Marttiini accessory it's sized and shaped to the maker's own folding-knife range rather than a generic fit, making it the natural replacement or spare sheath for anyone already running an MFK or MEF8 folder. A simple, practical piece of kit rather than a design statement — exactly what a spare sheath should be.
