The Morakniv Survival Kit is a compact accessory that mounts directly onto the Multi-Mount fitting built into the Kansbol and Garberg polymer sheaths, turning either knife into a self-contained bushcraft set. It carries three field essentials: a ferro rod for reliable fire-lighting in wet or windy conditions, a diamond-coated sharpener to keep the blade's edge working between proper sharpening sessions, and a length of reflective cord useful for lashing, repairs or emergency signalling after dark. Everything clips straight into the sheath's fitting rather than needing a separate pouch or lanyard, so it adds almost no weight or bulk — the whole kit weighs around 40g. It is designed specifically for the Kansbol and Garberg polymer sheaths and will not fit Morakniv's leather-sheathed knives. For anyone who carries a Kansbol or Garberg stalking, camping or out on the hill, it is a sensible way to keep a fire-lighting and sharpening back-up permanently to hand without adding another item to lose from the pack.
