The Nosler Ballistic Silvertip is a 130 grain, .277 inch (.270 calibre, 6.8mm) boat-tail hunting bullet for handloaders. It carries Nosler's polymer Silvertip, which promotes rapid, uniform expansion on impact, and a heavily jacketed base for large mushrooming. The spitzer boat-tail profile has a ballistic coefficient of 0.433 (G1) and a sectional density of 0.242. A Lubalox coating reduces friction and fouling and promotes longer barrel life. Nosler designs the Ballistic Silvertip hunting bullet for medium game such as antelope, deer and sheep. Supplied as a box of 50 projectiles, made in the United States. These are components for reloading, not loaded ammunition.
