Norma's 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser load pairs a classic Scandinavian deer cartridge with the 140-grain Nosler Partition, one of the most trusted controlled-expansion hunting bullets ever made. The Partition is a soft-point design with a dual-core construction: the front section mushrooms readily for a clean strike, while the rear core stays intact to drive deep penetration on bone and heavy muscle. Loaded in Norma's Professional Hunter line, each round leaves the muzzle at roughly 2,690 fps for about 2,250 ft-lbs of energy, giving the mild recoil and long, stable bullet flight that have made the 6.5x55 a stalking favourite for over a century. It is an honest all-round choice for UK roe and red deer, and the same cartridge has accounted for countless moose across Norway and Sweden. Cases are reloadable brass, so handloaders can keep working the load after the box is gone. Supplied in a 20-round box. Subject to a valid firearms certificate.
