These are Nosler Ballistic Tip Varmint reloading bullets in .224 diameter (22 calibre), 50 grain, supplied as a bulk value pack of 1000 projectiles. They are component bullets for handloading, not loaded ammunition. The design pairs a colour-coded polymer tip with a thin, fragmenting jacket mouth for rapid, violent expansion across a wide velocity band, making it well suited to high-volume fox and varmint work where a flat-shooting, explosive bullet is wanted. A gradually thickening jacket wall and Nosler's solid boat-tail base keep the bullet stable on firing and help it hold together through the bore, while the spitzer boat-tail profile gives a clean ballistic coefficient of 0.238 (G1) and a sectional density of 0.142 for predictable downrange behaviour. The 1000-count box is aimed at stalkers and pest controllers who shoot enough .224 to reload in quantity and want a consistent, proven varmint bullet at bulk pricing. Nosler quotes a minimum recommended impact velocity of 1600 fps for reliable expansion, so it pairs naturally with the fast .22 centrefire cartridges such as the .222, .223 and .22-250.
