These are Nosler Ballistic Tip Varmint reloading bullets in 20 calibre (.204" diameter), 40 grains, supplied as a box of 250 component projectiles for handloading cartridges such as the .204 Ruger. This is not loaded ammunition. The colour-coded polymer tip sits over an ultra-thin jacket mouth, so the bullet drives back and expands rapidly and violently across a wide velocity band, making it well suited to fox control and other varmint work where a fast, frangible bullet keeps ricochet risk down. A gradually thickening jacket wall and Nosler's Solid Base boat-tail heel hold the bullet together under high-velocity loads and give a clean, large-diameter mushroom on impact, while the spitzer boat-tail profile keeps it flat-shooting at range. Nosler quotes a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.239 and a bullet length of 0.745". Stalkers and varmint shooters building their own .204 loads get a consistent, match-grade varmint bullet in a useful 250-count quantity for working up loads and shooting a full season.
