These Nosler Custom Competition projectiles are component match bullets for the handloader, not loaded ammunition. Each is a 6.8mm (.277in diameter) 115-grain Hollow Point Boat Tail, built to deliver the kind of consistency competitive shooters and serious target reloaders are chasing. The concentric Custom Competition jacket is form-fitted to an ultra-precise lead-alloy core for balance and stability, and every bullet is hand-inspected for quality. A small hollow-point meplat reduces drag while the pronounced boat tail keeps flight predictable across a wide velocity range, helping tighten groups at distance. The cannelure is positioned for a .530in seating depth, which makes these a natural fit for the 6.8 SPC and AR-platform magazine feeding, where a crimp groove keeps bullets seated under recoil and cycling. With a published G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.375, they reward a carefully worked-up load with repeatable accuracy. Supplied in a box of 250, they give the high-volume target shooter plenty of components to develop and refine a match load before the next competition.
