Sierra MatchKing .30 calibre (.308") 200 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail bullets are component projectiles for handloaders, supplied in a bulk box of 500 - this is not loaded ammunition. Sierra draws these thin jackets to tight tolerances in both diameter and weight, and finishes each bullet with a small meplat to push the ballistic coefficient higher for flatter trajectories and reduced wind drift downrange. The MatchKing name has underpinned more target-competition wins than any other bullet line on the market, and the 200 grain .30 calibre loading is a proven choice for long-range shooting out to around 1000 yards, where its boat tail profile and refined ogive help retain velocity and stability. Handloaders working up loads for 1000-yard target rifles or long-range .308/.30 calibre precision work will find consistent seating depth and concentricity round after round. Store in a cool, dry place away from other reloading components, and always work up loads carefully with reference to current published data for your specific rifle and cartridge combination.
