Sierra's MatchKing .30 calibre (.308") 220 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail is one of the most respected long-range match bullets on the market, supplied here in a bulk box of 500 for handloaders. These are component bullets for reloading, not loaded ammunition. Each bullet is made to very tight jacket concentricity and weight tolerances, with a small meplat and boat tail profile that combine to give a high ballistic coefficient, flat trajectory and reduced sensitivity to crosswind drift at extended ranges. This build has underpinned more target-competition wins and long-range records than any other bullet in its class, making it a natural choice for serious .308/7.62mm target and F-Class shooters looking to load consistent, repeatable ammunition on the bench. Best paired with a barrel twist of 1-in-10" or faster to stabilise the bullet properly. Supplied non-coated with no cannelure, this is a straightforward, proven bullet for handloaders who want match-grade consistency without paying for loaded rounds.
