The Spypoint RC-1 is a handheld remote control for REMOS-compatible Spypoint trail cameras, giving you hands-off command of your camera from up to 150m (500ft) away. Rather than walking up to the unit every time you need to check or trigger it, the RC-1 lets you manage key functions from a distance, which is handy when you don't want to disturb a feeding station or approach a camera sited over a deer trail. Its layout is simple: an On/Off control for the camera's WiFi detection, a dedicated Camera button for an instant photo or video capture, and a Function (Fn) button whose role changes with the camera it is paired with. On a WiFi-enabled camera the Fn button switches the WiFi network on or off in Hunting mode, or kicks off synchronisation in Home Security and mySPYPOINT modes; on a LIVE-3G camera it starts the cellular sync with the mySpypoint server; and on TINY-W3 or TINY-3 models it sounds the buzzer on the Blackbox-D controller. It's a compact, practical add-on for anyone running a REMOS-ready Spypoint setup on stalking ground or around the yard.
