These elastic straps with Velcro are the genuine replacement set for the Fento MAX knee protector, supplied as a pack of four. Over time the calf straps that hold a knee pad in place wear from repeated flexing and abrasion, and Fento designed this set specifically so the straps can be swapped out without buying a whole new pair of knee pads. Each strap is wide and elasticated, with a rubber-based construction, and ties around the calf rather than behind the knee, so the pad stays secure and comfortable through a full day's kneeling work. Fitting is straightforward: undo the worn Velcro strap and thread the new one through in its place, following the same route as the original. As well as fitting the current Fento MAX, this strap set is also compatible with Fento's earlier 400 model, so it is a useful spare to keep on hand for either knee pad. Replacing just the elastics like this extends the working life of the knee protector, rather than the whole unit being discarded once the straps wear out — a sensible saving for anyone who kneels for a living.
