Nosler Trophy Grade is factory-loaded centrefire rifle ammunition for the .308 Winchester, supplied as a box of 20 ready-to-shoot cartridges rather than component bullets. Each round is built on NoslerCustom brass and topped with a 165-grain AccuBond bonded-core bullet, the load every UK stalker tends to reach for when one cartridge has to cover roe, fallow and red. The AccuBond marries a tapered copper-alloy jacket to a bonded lead-alloy core, so it flies true, drives deep and holds together on the shoulder, typically retaining 60 to 70 per cent of its weight for a reliable exit and a clear blood trail. The white polymer tip resists deformation in the magazine and initiates expansion cleanly on impact, while the boat-tail base helps the round hold velocity downrange. Nosler quotes a muzzle velocity of 2,800 feet per second, 2,871 foot-pounds of energy and a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.475.
