The DOG&FIELD Original Clone 1/2lb Partridge Dummy is part of the brand's award-winning Original Clone range, designed to bring genuine realism to gundog retrieving practice. It's finished in a high-definition photographic canvas print of a real partridge's feather pattern, giving a dog a proper visual likeness of the bird rather than a plain canvas shape. Built in the traditional canvas training-dummy shape from tough, waterproof canvas that floats, and finished with a durable throwing toggle, it throws easily and holds up to repeated retrieves. At 1/2lb it's a manageable weight for regular training sessions without tiring a dog, making it well suited to steady retrieving practice ahead of partridge days, whether walked-up over dogs or driven. It's a useful way to get a gundog familiar with the size and markings of a partridge before the season gets under way, building the same calm, controlled pick-up and delivery a handler wants to see in the field.
