Dog & Field's Original Clone Partridge Dummy Ball brings the ball format to the brand's award-winning range of feather-pattern training dummies, printed with a high-definition photographic reproduction of genuine partridge plumage rather than plain canvas. Partridge are one of the classic quarry species of the lowland shoot, taken driven or walked-up over stubble and root crops, and this ball-shaped dummy gives a dog the same visual cue it will meet in the field while keeping training on the training ground. Unlike a conventional canvas dummy, the ball's shape means it rolls and bounces unpredictably on the ground, which sharpens a dog's marking and hunting-up skills and appeals to natural play drive - useful for building enthusiasm in a young dog as well as adding variety to an experienced one's routine. Small and easy to carry, it suits early retrieving work as readily as more advanced sessions where a harder-to-locate retrieve is wanted. Built from Dog & Field's durable printed canvas construction, it is designed for repeated use out on the training field, not just indoors.
