The DOG&FIELD Original Clone 100g Snipe Training Dummy is the lightest bird pattern in the brand's award-winning Original Clone range, finished in a high-definition photographic canvas print of a real snipe's feather markings for a genuinely lifelike look. It's built in the traditional canvas training-dummy shape from tough, waterproof canvas that floats, with a durable throwing toggle for consistent throws. At just 100g, it's a lightweight dummy that suits smaller dogs and puppies, or teaching precise, close-control retrieving over short to medium distances rather than the longer, harder carries a heavier dummy demands. Snipe are a classic quarry of walked-up and rough shooting over wet ground and marshland, so this dummy is a good way to introduce a gundog to the size and markings of the bird before it's asked to mark and retrieve one for real. It's a practical starting point for early retrieving work, or for keeping a dog sharp on delicate pick-ups between seasons.
