Dog & Field's Original Clone Teal Dummy Ball prints the brand's ball-format training dummy with a high-definition photographic reproduction of teal plumage - Britain's smallest native duck, and a familiar sight on the foreshore and at evening flight. Because teal are noticeably smaller than a mallard or a goose, this dummy is sized to match, giving a dog a realistic target to mark and retrieve rather than a generic oversized shape. The ball format adds a further training dimension: rather than sitting still where it lands, it rolls and bounces off-line, so a dog learns to relocate a retrieve rather than simply walking onto it, which is useful preparation for wildfowling and flighting work. Compact and easy for a dog to pick up, it suits early retrieving lessons for a puppy just as well as sharper marking work for an established dog. Like the rest of the Original Clone range, it is built from Dog & Field's durable printed canvas construction for repeated use out on the training ground.
