The Vortex Ace Ballistic Weather Meter is a handheld ballistics and weather computer built for stalkers, target shooters and competitors who need accurate data before they call a shot. An onboard compass and wind meter work alongside exposed sensors for temperature, pressure and humidity to feed live environmental readings straight into the integrated GeoBallistics solver, so drop and wind corrections update in real time rather than being worked out by hand. Ten preloaded cartridge profiles cover popular calibres out of the box, and shooters can build and save their own custom profiles, then true the wind hold against what they actually observe downrange. The 2.0-inch LCD display runs to four HUD layouts - Advanced, Simple, Wind and Mover - so the screen can be set up to match the shot in hand, and the built-in range card and ballistic chart generators let a shooter save up to ten cards for later reference. It can be used as a standalone unit or linked to other Vortex Relay-enabled devices to share ballistic, environmental and rifle-specific data across a wider setup. Waterproof and shockproof, and compact enough to carry in a pocket at 5.4 x 2.4 x 1.0 inches and 5.7oz, it runs on two AA batteries.
