The Amblers Safety Mary (AS614), in stone leather, is a purpose-built women's safety boot, cut on a dedicated women's last rather than scaled down from a men's pattern, so it fits properly through the heel and instep. It carries the S7S rating to EN ISO 20345:2022, which combines S3-level toe and sole protection with full waterproofing: a composite, non-metallic toe cap rated to 200 J impact, and a non-metallic, penetration-resistant midsole tested to a 3mm nail. Both are metal-free. The water-resistant full-grain leather upper is backed by an internal waterproof membrane and Thinsulate lining, over a comfortable, cushioned, removable PU footbed with arch support. The outsole is slip-resistant, fuel-and-oil resistant, heat-resistant and fitted with a ladder-grip tread, with cold insulation built into the sole — a combination suited to wet yards, spilt diesel and cold concrete alike. At 6 inches it gives useful ankle support without the bulk of a full boot. A sound, lightweight choice for keepering, larder work, kennels, farms and trade sites where a genuinely women's-fit, metal-free safety boot is needed.
