• Cold cast bronze sculpture titled "Best Shot & His Dogs" - a shooting figure with his gun dogs, capturing a classic day in the field

• Compact tabletop size: 16.5cm high, 11cm wide, 7cm deep
• Rich, weathered bronze-effect patina finish that brings out the detail in the figures
• A characterful gift for anyone who shoots, or a memento of a day in the field
• Ideal for a mantelpiece, desk or gun-room shelf

This Patina bronze sculpture from Bisley captures a familiar scene from the shooting field: a Best Shot and his two dogs, cast in fine detail and finished with a rich, weathered bronze-effect patina. Made entirely by hand in the UK, the piece is cast from cold-cast bronze (a resin-bound bronze powder rather than solid metal), giving it genuine bronze colour and texture at a fraction of the weight and cost of a foundry casting. Standing 16.5cm high, 11cm wide and 7cm deep, it's a compact, tabletop-sized piece that sits comfortably on a mantelpiece, desk or gun-room shelf. The sculpting picks out the character of both the shot and his gun dogs, evoking the quiet companionship of a day's shooting rather than the action of it. It's a decorative piece rather than working kit - a keepsake or gift for anyone with a love of shooting, gun dogs or country life, and a fitting way to mark a retirement, milestone birthday or a shared day in the field.
