It carries a 1.9in (48mm) modified wharncliffe blade in 440A stainless steel, chosen for its clean edge geometry and ease of resharpening, backed by a sharpening choil and a thumbhole for one-handed opening. The handle is glass-filled nylon, light in the hand and grippy even with cold or wet fingers, and the lockback keeps the blade firmly open during use.
