Knivegg's Carving Kit 4 is a gift-boxed beginner's set built around the Small Fox LM knife, a compact fixed-blade carving knife with a 55mm blade (1.5mm thick) and a 165mm overall length – shorter and easier to control than the standard Dressing Fox knife used in Knivegg's other kits, and a good option for smaller hands or finer detail work. The blade is X50CrMoV15 stainless steel, ground to a Scandi profile with a micro bevel for clean, controlled cuts, and it's fitted with a blue soft-grip thermoplastic elastomer handle plus a polymer blade cover for safe storage. Alongside the knife the kit includes a piece of Lyme wood – a natural offcut, so size varies piece to piece – and a knife/spoon template leaflet to guide your first project.
