The Marttiini Condor Timberjack is a compact, general-purpose fixed-blade knife built for everyday use in the field. Its 3.75in (9.5cm) blade is forged from carbon steel and ground to a Scandinavian bevel, giving an edge that is straightforward to resharpen with a simple stone even away from a workbench — ideal for carving, general camp tasks and light game preparation. Carbon steel needs a little care: dry the blade after use and wipe it with a light coat of oil to keep it free of rust, and it will give years of reliable service. The handle is a textured rubber grip with a moulded finger guard, giving a secure, positive hold even in wet or cold conditions. Overall length is 8.5in (21.5cm), keeping the knife light and easy to carry on a belt all day. This version comes with a practical plastic sheath with a belt loop, so it is ready to clip on and go. A straightforward, well-made Finnish knife from a maker with a long history of building working tools for hunting, fishing and camp use.
