The Morakniv Erik Frost 106 CARBON is a traditional Swedish woodcarving knife built for craftsmen who demand a keen, responsive edge. Produced by Mora of Sweden — one of Scandinavia's oldest blade-making names — the 106 features an 82 mm carbon steel blade ground to a fine bevel that bites cleanly into wood grain and is straightforward to bring back to shaving sharpness with a strop or ceramic rod. The wooden handle gives a warm, secure grip that suits long carving sessions, and the classic profile sits comfortably in hand whether you are working on a spoon blank, detail carving, or a camp-craft project. Carbon steel does require a wipe dry after use to prevent surface rust, but many carvers prefer it precisely for its ease of sharpening and the keen edge it can achieve. A plastic sheath is included, keeping the blade protected when the knife is not in use. Straightforward, well-made and priced sensibly for what it delivers.
