The Lightforce Lance is a 140mm scope-mounted lamp built for the lone shooter working foxes and rabbits after dark. It clamps directly to your rifle scope, so the beam follows the muzzle and stays on the target through the shot, with no need for a second person to hold a spotlight. Twist the reflector housing and the beam shifts smoothly from a tight long-range spot, reaching out to around 400m, to a wide flood for scanning hedgerows and field edges. The 12V 75W Xenophot bulb gives a clean, bright throw and a working life of roughly 4,000 hours, while the lightweight, virtually unbreakable polymer body shrugs off knocks in the field and the recoil of repeated shots. It runs from a rechargeable battery pack or a vehicle cigarette-lighter socket, making it straightforward to power on foot or from the truck. Supplied with a mount system to fit both 1in and 30mm scope tubes, the Lance is a long-serving favourite among experienced night-shooting and vermin-control hands.
