Harkila's Base Mesh long johns in shadow brown are a dedicated leg base layer for active hunting in cool and cold conditions. Like the matching crew neck, the main body is an exceptionally breathable mesh fabric of 50% wool and 50% polyester, wicking moisture away from the skin while keeping your legs insulated on a long stalk or a still wait at a high seat. The crotch, inner thighs, knees and front of the lower thighs are reinforced with honeycombed jersey carrying a Polygiene finish, which resists odour and bacterial build-up and adds durability exactly where leg base layers wear hardest. A soft, elasticated waist keeps them secure without digging in, and flatlock comfort seams mean there's no rubbing when worn tight against the skin under trousers or breeks. Cut close and given plenty of stretch, they move with your stride rather than restricting it, at a light average weight of around 343g.
