Doesn't work

I used this for the first time last weekend to help speed up loading while on a UKPSA mini rifle safety course.
The mag charger was loaded with CCI mini mags.
After I completed each stage I went back to the loading area, inserted my partially used mags and turned the handle.
It would load a couple of rounds then stop working.
On inspection the bullets were not sliding down the zig zag and had to be manually slid towards the loading end.
Even holding the loader vertical, gravity was not enough to get the thing to load.
In the end I gave up and loaded my mags by hand.
Really disappointed with this product.
