The Lee Precision Adjustable Shot Dipper is a simple, low-cost tool for anyone hand-loading their own shotshells in small batches. Its telescoping cup extends and retracts to vary the charge, giving an adjustable range of 7/8 oz to 1 7/8 oz, and it's calibrated for lead shot straight out of the packet. The same cup handles bismuth and steel shot too, along with alternative fills such as tungsten and Hevi-Shot; because these are lighter or denser than lead volume-for-volume, Lee's guidance is to count out the pellets or weigh a sample charge and set the dipper to match before loading a full batch. It's a compact, uncomplicated alternative to a full powder-and-shot measure for stalkers and shooters who load their own cartridges occasionally rather than in volume, and it's been supplied into the UK reloading market via Lee's long-standing distribution arrangement with Henry Krank. No batteries, no calibration charts beyond the dipper's own scale — just a dial-in, dip and load.
